Qualifications

Job Description Summary

•Select product accurately in all climates (dry, coolers, and freezers)
•Assemble and select cases from pick locations for store orders daily in an accurate, efficient and productive manner. Order is assembled onto wood pallets
•Perform visual and operational vehicle safety inspections and report any unsafe vehicles to shift Supervisor or maintenance personnel
•Responsible for ensuring that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number
•Secures selected cases and conducts final pallet preparations by wrapping selected loads and applying shipping labels
•Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts and all Loblaw policies

What you will be trained to do:

  • Assembling cases of product on pallets for inventory requests made by Loblaw stores including wrapping orders and preparing them for shipping
  • Utilizing an electric pallet jack to move through the warehouse

Other Skills You Will Require:

  • Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 LBS repeatedly and up to 65 LBS occasionally with accuracy and in a timed environment
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks such as kneeling, bending, lifting, pulling, reaching and lowering movements (e.g., squatting)
  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (5’C to -40’C Degrees)
  • Able to work 5 days a week and start at 8:30am
  • Able to work 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Able to work from Monday through Sunday with the possibility of working statutory holidays and overtime if required
  • Able to comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts and all Loblaw policies
