Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring a Material Handler / Receiving & Inventory Coordinator for the Perth/Ottawa area to support EV manufacturing client. You will handle stock, assist with cycle counts, and ensure accurate inbound/outbound processes. Morning shifts are available and candidate must be within 80km of Perth location.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of warehouse experience, lift truck and RF scanner familiarity, and a proactive, team-first attitude with flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-year warehouse experience preferred.
• Lift truck experience preferred.
• RF scanner picking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean principles is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity and correctness.
• Accurately pick and process outbound orders, as required.
• Move and pick material from other departments.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and inventory records.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and replenishment tasks.
• Assist with receiving errors and investigations.

Description What you'll do:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position takes part in all stock handling duties such as receiving, order picking, loading/unloading trucks, replenishment, cycle counting and Physical Inventory. Morning shifts ( 7am or 9am start)

In this function you will:

• Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity and correctness.
• Accurately pick and process outbound orders, as required.
• Move and pick up material from other departments.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Complete inventory cycle counts.
• Complete replenishment tasks.
• Assist with the error investigation and resolution process related to inventory balance on hand and receiving errors.
• Utilizes computer programs to obtain required information, update database information etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned in the warehouse or elsewhere as required.
• Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. from an accredited school.
• Please note relocation is not offered for this position, only candidates within 80km of the Perth location will be considered.
