Job summary

MacDonald Search Group partners with a leading food manufacturing company to recruit a Warehouse Manager for Brandon, MB. You will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring smooth flow of goods on and off site while leading a sizable, unionized workforce.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Production, QA and Scheduling, drive KPI performance and budgeting, and ensure compliance with HACCP and related regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics or warehouse operations within a unionized environment.
• Deep knowledge of transportation, inventory control, and distribution centre operations.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP/EWM preferred).
• Proven ability to lead, develop teams, and manage labour relations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and regulatory requirements.
• Background in supply chain management or a related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large unionized workforce of 100+ employees.

• Oversee training programs and workforce planning.
• Support audits and food safety programs (HACCP, BRC, health & safety).
• Participate in site leadership and strategic planning.

We're partnering with a leading food manufacturing company find to a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse and distribution operations at their Brandon, MB facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods on and off site, while leading a sizable, unionized workforce and supporting cross-functional operations.

Who You Are

• Lead all logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and coordination with internal teams and third-party carriers
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking to ensure accuracy and supply chain integrity
• Manage and develop a team of ~100+ hourly and salaried employees in a unionized environment
• Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, QA, and Scheduling to support operational flow and customer fulfillment
• Act as the primary contact for cross-border logistics, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and documentation (BOLs, TDG, etc.)
• Drive performance through KPI tracking, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee training programs, payroll approvals, and workforce planning
• Support audits, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, BRC, health & safety)
• Participate as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to strategic initiatives and operational planning

What you'll do:
