Job summary

Confidential Company in Toronto seeks a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations for AWP equipment. You will manage loading/unloading, PDIs, and inventory while maintaining 6S standards and accurate records.

You will supervise and train team members and collaborate with Parts, Service, and Operations to meet demand and KPIs, ensuring safe, efficient equipment movement and uptime.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations or logistics.
  • Experience supervising a warehouse team and guiding training.
  • Ability to perform and oversee PDIs and basic equipment checks.
  • Strong focus on inventory accuracy, safety, and process cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse and inventory activities to support AWP equipment operations efficiently and safely.
  • Perform machine loading/unloading, receiving inspections, and inventory management.
  • Perform and oversee Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure equipment quality and safety.
  • Conduct machine exercise and basic maintenance to maintain readiness.
  • Install and test machine accessories and attachments as required.
  • Maintain 6S standards to keep a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming equipment and parts.
  • Maintain inventory records including serial numbers and equipment status.
  • Supervise and support warehouse team members with training and guidance.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Operations teams to meet demand and KPIs.

Job description

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within the Aerial Work Platform (AWP) equipment industry in the Toronto, Canada market. This role supports the efficient movement, storage, maintenance, and control of equipment while ensuring inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Lead partners closely with the Parts, Service, and Operations teams to support equipment uptime, customer demand, and operational goals, including performing and overseeing equipment Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily warehouse and inventory activities to support AWP equipment operations efficiently and safely
  • Perform machine loading/unloading, receiving inspections, and inventory management activities
  • Perform and oversee Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure equipment meets company quality and safety standards
  • Conduct machine exercise and basic maintenance activities to maintain equipment readiness
  • Install and test machine accessories and attachments as required
  • Maintain warehouse 6S standards to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming equipment and parts
