Superior Glove, a family-owned safety gear company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Acton, Ontario. You will support shipping, receiving, inventory and order fulfillment with accuracy, safety and efficiency while following procedures.

You'll operate handheld devices, assist with loading/unloading, cycle counts, and cooperate with teams to ensure timely deliveries. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Forklift, Walkie, WAVE, Tow Motor licenses preferred or training provided.
• Ability to use handheld RF scanner and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using handheld device and retrieve from storage areas safely.
• Pack and process orders into appropriate boxes by size, model, color, etc.
• Shrink wrap skids, stack, and build pallets safely.
• Assist with weights and measurements; verify order accuracy.
• Load trucks efficiently while following safety procedures.
• Conduct cycle/inventory counts and assist with unloading/receiving.
• Support customer pickups and adhere to safety and quality policies.

About the role:

Reporting to the Team Leader , the Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all tasks.

Location:

Acton, Ontario Office: Based at our Global Headquarters located at 36 Vimy Street, Acton, ON. This is a day shift position currently scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Picking orders using a handheld device – using various warehouse machines to retrieve orders from different rooms and heights while identifying order specifications
• Packing / processing orders into appropriate boxes according to sizing, model, order, colour , etc.
• Shrink wrapping skids, stacking and skid building in a safe manner
• Assist with weights and measurements on products when needed
• Verifying orders and marking special orders with the appropriate labelling
• Loading trucks in an efficient manner while following all regulated safety precautions
• Cycle / inventory counts as required
• Assist with unloading / receiving of trucks
• Assist with customer pick-ups as required
• Follow and comply with all operational and safety procedures/ policies stated in the employee handbook, safety, customer service, quality and environment programs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year of warehouse / shipping experience preferred
• High school diploma required
• Forklift, Walkie, WAVE, Tow Motor and Man-Up licenses will be required – training provided, experience/previous license preferred
• Ability to use hand-held device (e.g. RF scanner)
• Basic computer skills essential
• Math skills required to ensure order accuracy – testing is part of the recruitment process
• Strong communication skills are essential to be able to work with all departments and outside contacts Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills
• An ability to understand when an issue needs to be escalated.
• Ability to use judgement to determine if the gloves are of good quality.
• Must be adaptable to fast and ongoing changes in priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs during regular duties along with bending/walking/pushing/pulling
