Job summary

Manpower in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our client’s logistics team. The role focuses on unloading and sorting freight, loading up to multiple trucks, and maintaining accuracy on scans and counts.

This temporary assignment offers weekly pay, a start date soon, and a schedule Monday through Friday from 2 AM to 7 AM. Ideal candidates bring ability to lift 70 lbs, work with urgency, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Attention to process, quality and operational standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight.
• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.
• Scanning, cubing, reweighting.
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan, count stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.

What’s the Job?

• Unloading and sorting freight.


• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.


• Scanning, cubing, reweighting.


• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).


• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.


• Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.
