Job summary

Manpower in NOTL, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their logistics team. The role involves unloading and sorting freight, scanning and cubing loads, and working with conveyors in a fast-paced environment.

This is a temp-to-perm position with weekly pay and vacation pay, offering morning and evening shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, urgency, reliability, and strong communication to build positive relationships with couriers and leads while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Steel-toed safety boots (CSA approved) required.
• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort freight.
• Preload by pulling freight off conveyors; scan, cube and reweight.
• Build positive relationships with couriers, lead hands and sorters.
• Work with conveyors, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan and count stops on a truck and record premium products while loading.

Our client, a leader in the logistic industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork and a sense of urgency which will align successfully in the organization.

NO STUDENT! Temp to perm position Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: NOTL, ON Available shifts

• AM: 2:00 AM - 8:15 AM Monday to Friday
• PM: Monday 3:30 PM - 6:40 PM, Tuesday to Friday 4:00 PM - 6:40 PM

Pay rate: $18 per hour

What's the Job

• Unloading and sorting freight.
• Preload while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt, Scanning, cubing, reweighting.
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Should have a Steel Toed Safety boots/shoes which are CSA Approved
• Strong customer focus and communication
• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.
• Reliable and punctual behavior.
