Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Prince George, BC for a temporary assignment. The role starts early morning, Monday to Friday, and involves unloading and sorting freight, scanning and reweighting, and coordinating with couriers and loaders to keep trailers and conveyors flowing.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, can lift up to 70 lbs, and work with urgency in a time-sensitive environment, while maintaining accuracy and teamwork.

• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment.

• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.
• Strong organizational and multitaskingskills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight.
• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.
• Scanning, cubing, reweighting.
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.

Our client Purolator, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, and a sense of urgency which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Temporary Assignment

Location: Prince George, BC

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 2:30AM - 10:00AM

Pay rate: $20
