Job summary

Manpower in Burnaby is recruiting a Warehouse Associate for Purolator, a leader in logistics, for a temporary-to-permanent role.

You will unload and sort freight, preload trucks, and scan and weight items, with a 4:30 PM–7:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday. Start immediately and enjoy weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Must work with a sense of urgency in a time-sensitive environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort freight.
• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.
• Scan, cubing, reweighting.
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters).
• Work with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles.
• Accurately scan, count stops on a truck and log all premium products while loading.

Our client Purolator, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, and a sense of urgency which will align successfully in the organization.

Warehouse Associate - temporary to permanent position

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday 4:30 PM-7:30 PM

What’s the Job?

• Unloading and sorting freight.
• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.
