Haakon Industries in Kingston, Ontario is hiring a Wall Assembler to fabricate and assemble wall panels for air handling units in a heated, indoor facility. You will insulate panels, follow blueprints, and work with hand and power tools to meet production goals.

This full-time role requires 1 year of construction or skilled labor experience, reliable transport, and a team-oriented mindset. Shifts run rotating early mornings and afternoons with occasional overtime.

• Panel fabrication: Construct and assemble wall panels according to specifications and blueprints.

• Independent work: Perform tasks with minimal supervision to meet production goals.

Your Responsibilities:

• Panel Fabrication: Construct and assemble wall panels according to specifications, following blueprints to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
• Insulation Application: Apply insulation materials and lining to panels
• Measurement and Precision: Use measuring tools to ensure precise cuts, alignments and assembly of panels
• Tool Use: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including drills and fastening devices
• Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Location:

Shift Schedule

• Rotating early morning and afternoon shifts (Monday – Friday 5:45am - 2:15pm and Monday – Thursday 2:30pm - 12:30am)
• Every other Friday off
• Weekend shifts not required (occasional overtime is not mandatory and is dependent on factory needs)

Reliable transportation is required.
