Job summary

Engineered Air in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a Production/Factory Assembler to join our assembly team. You will read blueprints, gather materials, and assemble metal components for our HVAC equipment, working on sheet metal fabrication tasks in a fast-paced plant.

The role offers on-the-job training, regular wage increases after 90 days, and opportunities for long-term advancement within a committed safety-focused environment. Day shifts, up to 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or general labor is preferred.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools and tape measures is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification documents to assemble parts.
• Measure, cut and fasten sheet metal and assemble metal components for HVAC equipment.
• Gather materials and create parts lists as needed.

General Tasks
Opportunity to perform some of the following tasks based on capability and production needs:

• Metal
  • Measure, cut and fasten sheet metal
  • Assemble metal components for installation into HVAC equipment.

Skills/Physical Requirements

• Production or general labor experience (an asset)
• Previous experience with hand, power tools, and tape measures
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Standing for long periods of time in a busy production environment

Pay / Shift

• Pay: $20.25 per hour
• Daytime shifts
• Typical schedule is up to 48 hours/week including occasional Saturday shifts. Schedule may change depending on business needs.
