Responsibilities

• Apply paint using HVLP spray guns and airless systems to finish air handling units.
• Prepare surfaces: clean, caulk, mask and dent repair as needed.
• Maintain and adjust spray guns and equipment for efficiency.
• Perform spray foam insulation inside a paint booth.
• Perform body fill applications for dent repair to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift safely.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively.

This team is responsible for preparing and painting air handling units to ensure a quality finish in the final stages of the manufacturing process.

Your Responsibilities:

• Industrial Painting: Apply paint using HVLP spray guns and airless paint systems to achieve a quality finish on air handling units
• Surface Preparation: Fully prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, caulking, masking and performing dent repair as needed
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain and adjust paint spray guns and equipment to ensure efficient operation
• Spray Foam Application: Perform spray foam insulation applications within a paint booth
• Body Fill Applications: Perform body fill applications for dent repair to ensure smooth and finished surfaces
• Material Handling: Safely operate an overhead crane and forklift to handle materials as needed
• Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Starting Wage:

• $21.80-$30.00/based on experience

Experience:

• Industrial Painting 1 year (Preferred)

Job Location:

• Kingston, ON (on-site)

Shift Schedule:

• Rotating early morning and afternoon shifts (Monday – Friday 5:45am - 2:15pm and Monday – Thursday 2:30pm - 12:30am)
• Every other Friday off
• Weekend shifts not required (occasional overtime is not mandatory and is dependent on factory needs)

Reliable transportation is required
