Haakon Industries Ltd. in Kingston, ON is seeking an Assembler to join the Assembly Department. You will assemble HVAC units by installing exterior and interior walls, roofs and components onto the unit base, following blueprints and instructions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience required.
• 1 year of skilled labour experience required.
• Experience with assembly and reading blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble HVAC units following instructions and blueprints.
• Install and secure unit components ensuring proper alignment and quality.
• Use measuring tapes and hand tools to perform tasks accurately.
• Read fabrication packages and drawings to guide assembly.
• Perform basic welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• Lift heavy components and work at heights safely.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Maintain safety protocols at all times.
