Job summary

Verrus is seeking a Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications to steer the company’s investor narrative across North American capital markets. Based in Canada or the United States, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership to articulate strategy, value, and project milestones to investors and analysts.

Qualifications

• Senior investor relations or capital markets experience within mining.
• Established network across Canadian and/or US mining investment community.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience representing publicly listed mining companies.
• Willingness to travel and act as senior external representative of the business.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and commercially minded.
• Spanish and Latin American mining experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with institutional investors, bankers and high-net-worth investors
• Leverage an established network to broaden the company’s investor reach
• Present the company’s strategy, projects and investment case
• Represent the business independently at trade shows, conferences and investor meetings
• Support investor presentations and corporate communications
• Work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to increase market visibility
