Job summary

Linking Hope in Winnipeg seeks an organized, people-focused coordinator to create welcoming volunteer experiences, build community partnerships, and turn generosity into meaningful impact. You will recruit and support volunteers, coordinate events and distribution days, and help improve our volunteer system.

We value inclusive, reliable individuals who can manage communications, records, and recognition programs while collaborating with diverse partners across communities.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, events, nonprofit activities, or related work.
• Strong organization, communication, scheduling, and relationship-building skills.
• Adaptable, dependable, inclusive, forward-thinking, and comfortable in office, warehouse, community, and event settings.

We’re seeking an organized, people-focused coordinator to create welcoming volunteer experiences, build community partnerships, and help turn generosity into meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

• Recruit, welcome, orient, schedule, and support individual and group volunteers.
• Coordinate safe, inclusive volunteer experiences for distribution days, community events, and emergency-response initiatives.
• Build partnerships with businesses, schools, post-secondary institutions, agencies, and community organizations.
• Enhance our volunteer management system to ensure a successful experience.
• Lead volunteer communications, recognition, recordkeeping, impact reporting, and continuous improvement.

• Have experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, events, nonprofit activities, or related work.
• Bring strong organization, communication, scheduling, and relationship-building skills.

• Can use Microsoft 365 and communication or contact-management tools; occasional evening or weekend availability is required.
