Job summary

mark anthony wine spirits is seeking a Business Technology Analyst to join our IT team in Canada. You will provide technical support, installations, documentation, and on-call coverage across staff and branches.

The role requires a college diploma in IT, 3 years IT service desk experience, and certifications (MCSA). Strong Windows 11, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 skills are essential. Salary range CA$70,000–CA$80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology (2 years) required.
• MCSA certification within first month of employment required.
• 3 years IT experience including a service desk function.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and logical thinking / problem solving with high technical aptitude.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.
• Background in Windows 11 and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiar with Office 365, Microsoft 365 Administration, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ID).
• Displays an understanding of risk and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Troubleshoots, problem solves, escalates when appropriate, liaises with vendor contacts and branch tech reps.
• Installation & Configuration: Setup, maintenance and deployment of client systems, devices, and related software to dept standards.
• Operational Procedures: Carries out daily routines to optimize hardware/software use and supports all tech group levels.
• Documentation: Develops and maintains IT process documentation and ensures periodic reviews.
• Team Support: Provides support within the tech group, may require on-call hours and travel between Tru Cooperative Bank locations.

We are currently seeking a Business Technology Analyst to join our team.

Typical day

• Technical Support: Provides support to staff by troubleshooting, problem solving and escalating when appropriate. Maintains liaison with vendor contacts as well as branch technical representatives in the event of system failure or required escalation.
• Installation & Configuration: Carries out setup, maintenance and deployment of client systems, workstations, telecom equipment, printers and related software to department standards
• Operational Procedures Carries out daily operational routines to optimize hardware and software use. Provides support to all levels within the technology group, ensuring compliance within the framework of policies and standards
• Documentation: Develops, maintains, and documents installation and configuration of IT processes and procedures. Ensures documentation is reviewed on a regular basis and updated as required.
• Team Support: Provides support to all levels within the technology group, ensuring compliance within the framework of policies and standards. This role maybe required to work non-standard or additional hour, including on-call and available to travel to various Tru Cooperative Bank business locations, when required.

Requirements

• College, Trade or Tech School Diploma (2 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology required
• Other Certifications, Designations or Licenses - Obtain technical certification (. MCSA) within first of employment required
• 3 years related IT experience, including a service desk function, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and logical thinking / problem solving with high technical aptitude
• Good team player with a positive attitude
• Background in Windows 11 and Microsoft Active Directory
• Solid knowledge of the concepts, theories, practices and techniques of the information technology field, including emphasis on technical service in a call center or help desk environment
• Familiar with Office 365, Microsoft 365 Administration, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ID)
• Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.
