Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Multifamily to own our largest multi-location deals from first contact to contract, with a $2M annual quota. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, and it is remote across the USA or Canada.

You will close deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, expanding locations and services as groups sign, with support from our strategists for high-impact opportunities.

Qualifications

• Record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to multifamily groups or similar multi-location buyers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3 to 12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders in multi-location portfolios.
• Expand: secure more locations and services after a signed deal.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for multifamily owners and property management groups running large portfolios. As Vice President of Sales for Multifamily, you own our largest multi-location multifamily deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with multifamily owners and property management groups running large portfolios, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: multifamily portfolios with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.

What You Will Own

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.

What You Bring

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into multifamily groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers. If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.
