The Opportunity

As the Vice President of Marketing for Baptist Housing, you'll serve as a member of our senior leadership team. You will provide leadership and oversight in defining and directing Baptist Housing’s overall strategic vision and direction relating to all communications, media relations, marketing, advertising, and sales. You will give leadership to our brand positioning in the market, monitoring the senior’s living space and adjusting strategies accordingly. The position further supports and provides strategic input on growth opportunities, development projects, and property enhancements.

About The Role

As the Vice President of Marketing, you’ll provide mentorship to marketing teams across multiple Baptist Housing locations, ensuring cohesive brand management and the successful execution of marketing initiatives. You’ll be responsible for crafting and implementing marketing strategies that encompass corporate communications, public relations, advertising, and sales programs, all designed to elevate our brand and engage key audiences. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining partnerships, driving media relations, and ensuring that all marketing activities align with Baptist Housing’s mission and vision. Your efforts will be instrumental in enhancing our organization’s reputation, fostering team development, and supporting our goal of being recognized as a leader in senior care.

Requirements

University Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications

Minimum of 8 or more years of marketing and communications experience.

Experience in marketing housing for seniors is an asset

Public relations and advertising campaign experience

The Vice President - Marketing is a position of Christian ministry and Christian leadership within Baptist Housing. As a member of the senior leadership team, the person holding this position must sign and adhere to the Statement of Faith of Baptist Housing.

Some travel will be required to carry out work duties between our communities.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive salary with a range of $133,000–165,000 per year and a benefits package that includes employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, 6 weeks’ vacation, up to 7% RRSP matching contribution, and support for professional development
