Job summary

Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers, is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join the team at Taza Park Volkswagen. Reporting to the Sales Managers, you will buy, prospect, appraise, and present offers to owners to acquire vehicles for resale.

This role supports the dealership's sales team and emphasizes customer satisfaction. The company offers competitive salaries and growth opportunities across eight dealerships and related services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of sales experience or vehicle acquisitioning.
• Valid AB driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Approaches, greets and interfaces with sellers and will offer to purchase their current vehicles.
• Utilize automated inventory management system.
• Understand market trends and changes to trends in geographic market.
• Provide guidance and support to dealership Sales Associates as it relates to purchasing used vehicles.
• Appraise used vehicles from time to time.
• Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Attends product and sales training courses as requested by General Manager or Sales Managers.
• Keeps abreast of all makes, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to guests.
• Realize that the company’s business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to guests.
• Utilize the follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned project.
• Report to the Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
