Job summary

AutoCanada Calgary is looking for a Used Vehicle Acquisitions Specialist to source quality pre-owned vehicles from the public and outside the dealer network, and to work with the used car team to recondition them for resale.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in automotive sales or management, plus experience with acquisitions/auctions and strong negotiation skills to drive profitable purchases while maintaining customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle acquisitions and auctions.
• 2+ years in the automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements for operating a motor vehicle.
• Valid Alberta driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Source used vehicle inventory from direct contacts, leads, and public listings.
• Appraise vehicles and negotiate prices for profitable purchases.
• Coordinate with the used car department to recondition vehicles for resale.
• Set up appointments and manage the purchase process to ensure customer satisfaction.
