Vegetation Management Technician

Weed Man/YardMaster Saskatoon is seeking a dedicated Vegetation Management Technician to join our team.

Position Details

1. Location: Saskatoon office
2. Type: Full-time, permanent
3. Start Date: Mid-late March
4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour days
5. Seasonal work with year-round opportunities in Christmas Decor & Truly Nolen Pest Control

Compensation

Starting wage: $20-24/hour (depending on experience) plus overtime

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 SK Driver's License with a clean driving record
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Physically fit, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Prior experience is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

• Operate herbicide application equipment for vegetation control
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate records of time and product usage
• Keep truck and equipment clean
• Handle, mix, transport, and apply chemicals safely and knowledgeably
• Complete daily work and administrative tasks
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Assist with pest control and Christmas light installation during the off-season
