Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a VAS Associate for our Millcreek Distribution Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The role reports to the VAS Supervisor during the AM shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).

You will follow SOPs to maintain high-quality standards, assist with quality assurance, and build product displays per specifications. You’ll work closely with teammates to meet targets while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • 1–2 years experience in a distribution environment.
  • Must be flexible for overtime and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed instructions and SOPs to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Assist with quality assurance processes as needed to ensure product excellence.
  • Build and assemble product displays according to customer specifications and guidelines.

Who You Are

  • Strong attention to detail is mandatory
  • Forklift Certification is an asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Must have good manual dexterity
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with an RF device is an asset
