Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a DEWALT Field Sales Specialist to support the Eastern Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. You will build strong relationships with distribution partners, grow sales with national accounts, and represent DEWALT, STANLEY, CRAFTSMAN and BLACK+DECKER brands.

This field-based role reports to the Manager, IC National Accounts and requires travel within the territory to drive sales growth and deliver customer solutions.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
  • B2B sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving and planning abilities.
  • Highly motivated with a drive for results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce and SAP a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute value strategy by building partnerships with distribution partners.
  • Develop strategic relationships with distribution partners and support inside/outside sales to deliver solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls at partner locations and support end-user sales calls and merchandising initiatives.
  • Own assigned territory, identify opportunities, and drive sales growth.
  • Champion the DEWALT brand through product knowledge sessions and events.
  • Develop and execute sales and conversion strategies to maximize territory performance.
  • Plan personal sales activities to maximize ROI in the territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Manage territory communications, budgets, follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records and customer updates.

What You Will Get To Do
  • Execute Stanley Black & Decker’s value strategy by building strong partnerships with key distribution partners.
  • Develop strategic relationships with assigned distribution partners while supporting both inside and outside sales representatives to deliver jobsite solutions to end users.
  • Conduct sales calls at distribution partner locations, participate in joint end-user sales calls, and support merchandising initiatives to drive sell-through and increase product awareness.
  • Own your assigned territory by identifying opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving sales growth.
  • Champion the DEWALT brand through product knowledge sessions, local distribution events, demonstrations, and corporate initiatives.
  • Develop, plan, and execute effective sales and conversion strategies to maximize territory performance.
  • Plan and organize personal sales activities to maximize return on investment within your territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within your assigned region.
  • Manage territory communication, budgets, follow-up activities, and sales reporting.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records, including call reports and customer updates.
Who You Are
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of achievement and success.
  • B2B sales experience considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competitive compensation with an anticipated annual base salary of $50,000-$60,000, based on your experience, skills, qualifications and market location.
  • Performance-based earning potential through a discretionary sales incentive bonus targeted at 15% of your annual salary, based on the achievement of defined objectives and plan terms. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
