Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking team members for Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario. This seasonal, part-time role focuses on welcoming guests, helping with luggage, and managing parking with a friendly, efficient approach.

You will assist guests at check-in and check-out, arrange transportation, and ensure safe vehicle movement. A valid Ontario driver’s license and strong communication skills are required; weekends and holidays are included.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Ontario driver's license.
• Ability to operate all passenger vehicles (standard and automatic).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt to change and multitask independently.
• Results-oriented, service-driven with urgency and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with luggage during check-in/out and storage.
• Park guest vehicles safely and guide to designated parking areas.
• Provide luggage service and storage at check-in/out.
• Coordinate transportation for guests.
• Report to the Manager on duty any guest dissatisfaction with room service or other outlets.
• Deliver amenities and housekeeping items to guests if needed.

HOURLY RATE - $18.31

PART-TIME HOURS:

• Part-Time - 2-3 shifts per week

• 7-hour shifts between 6:45am to 11:00pm
• Weekends and Holidays required

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Greeting and assisting guests with luggage at check-in/check-out and storage. Providing a consistently high degree of both friendliness and efficiency for all guests and visitors by parking guest vehicles in a safe and orderly manner.

• Greeting the guest with a cheerful and pleasant voice
• Driving guest vehicles from motor court to designated parking area of garage for valet parking and return guest vehicle to motor court for guest pick-up when needed
• Providing guests with luggage service and storage at check-in/check-out
• Coordinating transportation for guests
• Reporting to the Manager on duty any situation involving a guest's dissatisfaction with Room Service or any other outlet or situation in the hotel
• Properly deliver amenities and housekeeping items to guests if needed

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
