Job summary
Qualicare Whitby is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our home care team in Durham region. The role involves assisting clients with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and medication reminders under supervision of the Care Coordinator.
You should have a PSW certificate or equivalent, current CPR/First Aid, ability to travel within the territory, access to internet and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
