Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our home care team. You will provide essential personal care services under the Care Coordinator, ensuring client comfort and safety in their own homes.

Responsibilities include helping with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship, while following individualized care plans. A valid PSW certificate and driver access are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate required: Personal Support Worker.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a home care setting.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Light housekeeping and pet care as needed.
• Accompany clients on outings and run errands.
• Medication assistance/reminders and safety checks.
• Document care provided and follow care plans.

Job Summary

The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
