Job summary

Qualicare Homecare in Ontario is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs)/Caregivers to join our family. As a PSW, you will provide essential personal care services to clients in their homes, under supervision of the Care Coordinator.

You will assist with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, medications, transport, and companionship while following care plans to improve quality of life for clients and relief for families.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse/applicant considered).
• Current CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to travel within location territory.
• Access to internet/mobile phone.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation.

• Accompany clients on outings, shopping and errands.
• Medication assist/reminders.
• Ambulation and transport of clients.
