Job summary

Qualicare Homecare in Whitby is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our home care team and provide essential personal care services under the Care Coordinator.

You will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, accompany clients on outings, manage medication reminders, and provide companionship while following care plans to improve quality of life for clients and peace of mind for families.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse accepted).
• NACC Certification is preferred to demonstrate recognized PSW credentials.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Ability to travel around location territory and have access to internet/mobile phone.
• Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
