Hiring: Utility Transmission Project Analyst

We’re seeking a Utility Transmission Project Analyst to support the delivery of complex high-voltage transmission and substation projects.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of project management, project coordination or project support experience
- Experience with electrical utilities, transmission/distribution, substations, construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting project costs, schedules, milestones, documentation and reporting
- Experience with asset data management, data quality, validation, reconciliation and data governance
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
- Experience working with project managers, engineering, operations, field teams and contractors
- Experience with process improvement, workflow optimization and/or automation
- Understanding of PMBOK/project management principles
- Degree or technical education in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, IT or a related discipline
- PMP is an asset, but not required
Highly Desirable
- Direct experience with energized substations
- Understanding of electrical hazards and safe-work practices
- Experience supporting high-voltage transmission projects
About the Role
You’ll support the Transmission Program Management team by using project and asset data to help drive effective project delivery.
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring project costs, schedules and deliverables
- Managing and validating project and asset data
- Developing reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
- Supporting project documentation, records management and regulatory deliverables
- Performing data quality checks, validation and reconciliation
- Identifying trends, discrepancies, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting workflow optimization and automation
- Collaborating with project managers, engineering, operations, field personnel and contractors
