Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking an experienced Used Car Manager in London, Ontario, to lead the pre‑owned vehicle department. You will maximize inventory turn, profitability, and customer satisfaction while ensuring operational excellence across the used vehicle operation.

Responsibilities include appraising trade‑ins, sourcing inventory, managing aging reports, and leading a high‑performing team. Strong OMVIC knowledge and proven leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive management experience.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisal, wholesale purchasing, pricing, and inventory management.
• Experience with OpenLane and EBlock.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Appraise trade‑ins and decide buy/sell/auction strategy.
• Source inventory through wholesale channels and private purchases.
• Maintain inventory days supply and monitor aging reports.
• Lead and coach the Used Vehicle Sales Team and set performance goals.
• Ensure online merchandising is accurate with photos, descriptions, and pricing.
• Ensure OMVIC compliance and Ontario disclosure requirements.
