Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for the UPCC in Vancouver, BC. You will support registration, clerical tasks, and patient flow in a high-priority Primary Care Clinic within the Community of Care model.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will help maintain medical records, adhere to policies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a Medical Office Assistant program; 1 year related clinical medical office support experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration and clerical support for the Primary Care Clinic.
• Support the local Community of Care (CoC) service delivery model and primary care network.
• Follow VCH policies and procedures and maintain accurate medical records.
