Job summary

Sienna Senior Living, at Aspira Kensington Place Retirement in Canada, is seeking an Unregulated Care Provider to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support residents’ daily living. You will help maintain health, safety, and dignity while working within a team dedicated to resident well-being.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and collaborating with the Director of Wellness to monitor changes in residents’ conditions, with emphasis on infection control

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program.
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training program and quarterly competency evaluations.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Current CPR training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resident records and documentation per policies and regulations.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and report changes to the Director of Wellness.
  • Ensure care assignments are completed and changes in residents' needs are communicated.
  • Provide guidance to Guest Attendants to support resident care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Performing other duties as assigned
What you need to know:
  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site and successful ongoing quarterly evaluation of competencies
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
  • Current CPR training
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position
