Job summary

Sienna Senior Living at Aspira Cedar Crossing is seeking an Unregulated Care Provider to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care that supports residents’ health, safety and well‑being in a fast‑paced home.

You’ll work to build meaningful relationships with residents, uphold dignity and respect, and contribute to a culture of caring. Must have PSW, medication administration, CPR, and the ability to work independently or with a team, plus eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program.
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training and quarterly competency evaluation.
  • Current CPR training and ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Experience working with seniors and ability to pass Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resident records and required documentation per policies and regulations.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and report condition changes to wellness director.
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment applying infection control principles.
  • Support care assignments and communicate resident needs to the wellness director.

  • Providing guidance to the Guest Attendants to ensure that care assignments are completed and that changes in residents’ needs are reported to the Director of Wellness
  • Maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents utilizing infection control principles
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

  • Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate program
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site and successful ongoing quarterly evaluation of competencies
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
  • Current CPR training
  • Experience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging process
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position
