Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking an Unloader to join the Root Cellar Team in Victoria, BC. This role involves safely receiving and unloading daily deliveries, monitoring product quality, and efficiently moving deliveries into stock.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lift 50 lbs, excellent communication skills, and flexibility for shifts, including weekends. Join us in supporting local farmers and makers while working in a committed team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexible to work early shifts starting at 6:00 am two times a week.
• Availability for a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently unload daily produce, grocery, and meat deliveries.
• Transport product by forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of loading dock and storage areas.

Skills

Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

UNLOADER

Location: McKenzie Corner, 1286 McKenzie Ave., Victoria, BC V8P 5P2

THEROLE

We are currently seekinganUnloader to join our Root Cellar Team! The Unloader is responsible forsafely receiving and unloading our many daily deliveries and keeping track ofincoming inventory and supplies. This includes signing for shipments,monitoring incoming product quality, and efficiently moving deliveries into theback stock area by hand, pallet jack or forklift.

• Safely and efficiently unload dailyproduce, grocery, and meat deliveries.
• Work professionally with suppliers anddrivers to receive shipments.
• Transport product by forklift andpallet jack.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Maintain the organization andcleanliness of loading dock, backroom, garbage, recycling and storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with alldepartments regarding their deliveries.
• Monitor the quality of the deliveredproduct.
• Effectively respond to challengingsituations positively and professionally, including proposing new ideas.
