Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• Available for morning shifts and weekends.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify identity, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Deter criminal activity through presence and procedures.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send via email.
• Respond to emergencies such as fires or security breaches.
• Coordinate with authorities and emergency services.
• Check doors and ensure secure entrances.

Position we are looking to Fill

P1: Monday to Friday 2300-0700

P2: Sat and sun 2300-0700

Responsibilities For University Campus Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors


• Manage access control


• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks


• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs


• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams


• Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence


• Conduct Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send it via emails


• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches


• Point of contact with authorities and emergency services


• Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance.
