Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Medical Facility Security Guard for a hospital environment in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You will patrol, verify identities, and de-escalate threats while maintaining safety across the facility.

The role requires Canadian work authorization, a Manitoba security license, and the ability to stand and walk through shifts with a strong readiness to respond to incidents. GardaWorld offers education support and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• First aid certification and/or willingness to obtain is an asset.
• Use of Force is an asset or willingness to obtain is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Responding to code.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken; respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Medical Facility Security Guard in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- eskale situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment.

• Position: 14 days Rotational Schedule ( Day and Night shifts) Day shift hours 7 Am to 7 Pm and Night Shift hours 7 Pm to 7 Am
