Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Seasonal Parking Enforcement Security Guard in Winnipeg, MB. You will patrol campus parking lots, enforce parking rules, and deliver strong customer service to residents and visitors.

The role emphasizes safety, timely reporting, and professional conduct throughout the shift. This position offers an hourly wage with benefits, ongoing GardaWorld Academy education opportunities, uniform provision, and clear career growth paths within GardaWorld Security Services.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Manitoba security license required.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Proficient with basic phone and computer skills.
• 1 year of driving experience.
• Physically fit and able to walk 4–6 km per day.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the campus parking lots ensuring that vehicles have valid parking.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
• Arrive at your post on time and in uniform.
• Maintain college-provided devices and vehicles in good working order.
• Prioritize the safety and protection of residents and visitors.
• Be mindful of ways to improve the safety and security of parkers on campus.
• Share suggestions and recommendations for improvement with the CPO.
• Maintain accurate and neat reports.
• Issue parking tickets using an electronic ticketing system to vehicles illegally parked, expired time, invalid passes or vehicles parked in the wrong lot.
• Guards may need to drive the parking enforcement vehicle provided by the school.
• Other duties as assigned.
