Job description

Job Title: Unit Service Technician - Emergency Department (Per Diem)

Schedule: Emergency Department Per Diem, includes weekend and holiday rotation required.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide a broad range of care and services to patients, including EKG, phlebotomy, equipment cleaning, and room stocking under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
2. Perform secretarial duties such as organizing paperwork, answering phones, paging, and registering Emergency Department patients into the medi-tech computer system.
3. Transport patients safely and accurately throughout the hospital.
4. Perform 1:1 sitting when necessary.
5. Ensure adherence to the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in a best-practice environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
