Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Willowdale, Ontario, is seeking a casual Part-time Nursing Unit Clerk to coordinate the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. You will help maintain a safe, resident-centered environment by updating schedules and communicating staffing changes across teams.

You will obtain overtime approvals from the Director of Care, maintain attendance reports, and ensure clear English communication with residents, visitors, and staff. CPR certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education an asset.
• Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• CPR certification may be required.

What Is In It For You:• Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily \"call in\" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments. • Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care. • Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care.
