Job summary

St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg seeks a Unit Clerk for the Post Natal Unit on a 0.70 FTE basis. Under supervision of the Manager Health Services and an RN/RPN, you will perform clerical and receptionist duties as part of the health care team.

The successful candidate will have a recognized Unit Clerk certificate and strong organizational, communication and multitasking abilities to manage diverse demands in a busy in-person environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Unit Clerk certificate program.
  • Ability to work in a Windows operating environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services and a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Unit Clerk acts as a member of the health care team, performing clerical, receptionist, and related duties as assigned.
