Qualifications

• Must have completed the Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training Course.
• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must maintain high physical fitness and be able to work varying shifts including nights.
• Able to deescalate individuals in crisis and follow client policy.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by foot patrolling property, inspecting buildings and controlling access.
• Prevent theft by observing operations and clients; enforcing client policy and procedures; issuing bans.
• Complete shift reports by recording observations and surveillance activities.
• Arrest and detain offenders when required (unauthorized individuals, theft, vandalism, etc).
• Assist and utilize local emergency services; complete witness statements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, observation, dependability, and punctuality.

Hiring Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who:

• Have completed the Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training Course
• Have prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness
• Have excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Have a working smart phone with messenger application abilities
• Are able to work a varying shift schedule, including night shifts
• Exhibit an ability to successfully deescalate individuals in crisis

Duties / Responsibilities / Expectations:
