Job summary

Pinnacle Protection Services is seeking qualified security & protection officers to join our team in NORTH BATTLEFORD for FULL TIME and PART TIME (WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS).

We train our guards to protect clients and their interests, including the use of force when necessary for arrests and detention. Applicants should have Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training and related experience, plus strong fitness and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training Course.
• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a working smartphone with messenger capabilities.
• Able to work a varying shift schedule, including night shifts.
• Ability to deescalate individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by foot patrolling property, inspecting buildings and controlling access.
• Prevent theft by observing business operations and clients; enforcing client policy and procedures; issuing property bans.
• Complete shift reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Arresting and Detaining Offenders when required, ie unauthorized individuals, theft, vandalism, assault, etc.
• Assist and utilize local emergency services when required; complete witness statements.
• Display high levels of professionalism, integrity, observation, dependability, and punctuality.
