Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols throughout designated areas of the retail complex, both indoors and outdoors
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor the property and identify safety, security, and policy concerns
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers, employees, tenants, and visitors
• Enforce site policies and procedures in a professional manner
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and management
• Complete accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders
• Maintain professionalism and alertness throughout the entire shift

We are looking for reliable, professional, and customer-service-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members of the public.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with 8 hours shifts. Shift start times may vary based on operational requirements.

Schedule & Pay

• Location: Brandon, Manitoba
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Times: May vary depending on site requirements
• Starting Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
• Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walking patrols throughout designated areas of the retail complex, both indoors and outdoors
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor the property and identify safety, security, and policy concerns
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers, employees, tenants, and visitors
• Enforce site policies and procedures in a professional manner
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and management
• Complete accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders
• Maintain professionalism and alertness throughout the entire shift

Successful applicants must be prepared to follow all site policies and procedures, including:

• No personal cell phone use while on shift, including earbuds or other personal electronic devices.
• Remain attentive and actively engaged in security duties throughout the shift
• Follow all instructions and procedures provided during site training
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Complete required documentation and report writing accurately

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a CSA-approved provider
• MOAB Certification, or willingness to complete company-sponsored training prior to onboarding
• High School Diploma or GED
• Conversant and proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• Comfortable conducting extended walking patrols, both indoors and outdoors
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to work independently and remain alert throughout an 8-hour shift
• Able to follow site policies, procedures, and instructions
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification
Valid Manitoba Security License
