Job summary

TSW Management Services Inc. in Laval seeks an Underwriting Associate to support the Underwriter with day-to-day tasks and policy administration. You will interact with brokers and underwriters, process documents, and help manage data for renewals and audits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience.
• Experience in an insurance environment is an asset.
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Enthusiastic and reliable with excellent sense of organization, professionalism and discretion.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
• Basic knowledge of the insurance industry, an asset
• Team player adaptable to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly lineage, premiums and claims' bordereaux and reconciliation.
• Invoice bond accounts by month/year end.
• Issue and send Insurance Policies and Endorsements.
• Work with brokers and underwriters for daily maintenance of policy files regarding inquiries, policy changes, requests for applications, follow-ups, etc.
• Set up, re-create and edit policy wordings.
• Assist with receivables A/R's.
• Prepare data for various reports required by London for the contract's renewal and the audits.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, as needed.
• Meeting service standard and turnaround time with respect to issuance of documents
• Carry out other administrative duties, as needed.
