DGA Careers in Montreal is seeking an experienced commercial insurance underwriter to drive underwriting for specialty lines and service broker partners. Hybrid work with two days in the office, and a stable, senior team environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in P&C, strong analytics, and fluency in French and English, with a view toward obtaining the PAA designation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, ideally within specialty lines.
• Underwriting experience is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of portfolio performance indicators.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Interest in pursuing the PAA designation.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business and renewals for specialty lines.
• Analyze risks and develop appropriate terms and conditions.
• Build strong relationships with broker partners.
