Job Accountabilities:

In this position you will support the underwriting of portal submissions and develop our Marine and Recreation portfolio, with the mandate to grow profitability, and support exceptional working relationships with our brokers/advisors. This position requires a candidate with solid technical and underwriting skills to provide support within the Marine team. The incumbent should be an adept communicator, who is capable of making operational decisions within their level of authority.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• General Insurance License (Level 2) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Minimum of 2-5years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Working towardsor willingness to obtain CAIB/CIP
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Compensation:

Based on qualifications of applicant pay grade may vary from $55,000 to $75,000
