Are you ready to dive into a rewarding underwriting role with a focus on marine insurance? We’re looking for a Marine Underwriter with 2–5 years of experience to join our client, who is an MGA based in Vancouver. With this position, you will be stepping in to support the growing business and collaborate with a junior underwriter already on the team.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite risksrelated to marine insurance(e.g., jet skis, skidoos)
• Manage new business submissions through our digital portal
• Work closely with a junior underwriter and report directly to the VP
• Navigate and adapt to ongoing system upgrades
• Maintain high attention to detail and manage a fast-paced workflow

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of underwriting experience, preferably in personal or commercial lines
• Level 1 license
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a distributed team

• Salary $55,000 to $75,000
• Hybrid work environment: 3 days/week in our Vancouver office
