Job summary

Coeur Silvertip in northern British Columbia operates in a two-week in/two-week out shift. The Miner 3 i is an integral part of the mining operation, with responsibilities including the safe and productive operation of eight yard scoops, 30- and 45-ton haul trucks, as well as scissor lifts and boom trucks.

Solid work ethic, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential. Qualifications include a minimum of two years underground mining experience, one year operating heavy underground

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years underground mining experience.
• Minimum one (1) year operating heavy underground equipment (scoop/truck).
• Ability to operate various underground utility vehicles.
• BC underground blasting ticket considered an asset.
• First aid ticket an asset.
• Ability to operate a trans mixer an asset.
• Ability to shoot shotcrete an asset.
• Physically fit to perform duties.
• Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe and productive operation of eight (8) yard scoops, 30- and 45-ton haul trucks; Scissor lifts and Boom trucks.
• Assist in installing mine services and loading rounds.
• Ensure adherence to safety and production policies and procedures.
• Maintain solid work ethics, attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
