Job summary

Coeur Silvertip in Northern British Columbia is seeking a Mine Superintendent to lead engineering processes, safety culture, and cross-functional collaboration for the Silvertip operation. The role drives optimization and Life of Mine strategies while coordinating with geology, engineering, milling and maintenance teams.

You will oversee budgets, planning, reporting, and scope of work for continuous improvement at a remote camp with a two-week on/off rotation and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. in Mining or Geology, BC registered.
• Minimum 15 years mining engineering experience with 10+ in supervisory/technical roles.
• Proven safe work record.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physically fit to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture within Underground Operations.
• Ensure compliance with BC Health, Safety and Reclamation Code.
• Lead with Geology, Engineering, Milling and Maintenance counterparts.
• Develop and monitor operational budgets and LOM strategy.
• Prepare regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
