Job summary

Coeur Silvertip in Northern British Columbia seeks an experienced Mine Superintendent to lead underground operations, develop and implement engineering processes, and drive safety and continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires a P.Eng. in Mining/Geology (BC) with 15+ years in mining engineering, including 10 in supervisory roles, and readiness to work a two-week on/off rotation at a remote camp.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. in Mining, Geology or related and registered in BC.
• Minimum of 15 years mining engineering experience with 10 years in progressive supervisory or technical roles.
• Proven safe work record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and safety policies across the mine.
• Develop and deliver engineering processes and Life of Mine strategy.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and variances.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Geology, Engineering, Milling and Maintenance.
• Provide KPI tracking and regular reports to Mine Operations.
